So I was up in church one day and the pastor gets on the subjects of Gender and the way that men work and the way the women work and how they both coexist with one another........... and he started by sayin... "Men are like Waffles and women are like Spaghetti" when he said this I was puzzled yet intrigued that he would make this type of comparison...... He goes on to get explain himself...... I took his sermon and put it into my own words to present to you "Waffles n Spaghetti"

Men..............The Waffles

Now us guys.....(for the most part) we tend to compartmentalize our lives into small boxes (like Waffles) and focus only on one box at a time. This is when we are thinking, talking, working we are focused on that one thing at that very moment........We have a bunch a different boxes.....a box for Sports, box for academics, box for money, Box for finances, box for women, box for sex, and some boxes are just empty........Some of you may be wondering "whats going on in the empty box?" and my reply is very simple....NOTHING NOT A DAMN THING.....lololol....yes ladies we have some boxes with absolutely nothing in them..... think about a time you've asked a guy........."what are you thinking about?".......Man oh man is that question is a BLOWER....because that's when we men panic......Because honestly who is gonna believe that we are actually thinking about nothing....now we guys go into a panic because we have to move to another box to think about something to tell her that we are thinking about......but it usually doesn't work.....and our reply is...."Nothin".........and your reply to that is......."Nothing?......you have to be thinking about something".......smh.....now this can turn into an argument.......ladies we think one box at a time......so try to keep that in mind when dealing with us please.........

Women.......................Spaghetti

Women’s lives, on the other hand, are like cooked spaghetti on a plate. The pieces are intertwined, women are naturally multi taskers....... Women are like spaghetti in the since that virtually every thought that they have is connected to another thought......Like I can remember many time speaking to my mom, sister, or a female friend......and they start off talking about one issue and by the end of the conversation they have given me their opinions nearly 50 different subjects.....relationships, politics, their job, kids, what they are doing tomorrow, what they don't like about me, why they don't like my friends, and etc...in a 2min conversation that started of with a simple..."how was you day?".....being that I think in boxes that stuff is hard to keep up with.......that's why a lot of time you will just find a guy just nodding his heading and making comments like.."really?"...."I understand"....."I'm sorry"......or "fareal? that's crazy".........like fellas have you ever gotten in an argument with your girlfriend? .....it will start off with her telling you...."you go out to much"......and then she'll run off on tangents...bring up something that happened like a month ago like when you didn't compliment her new hairstyle....then move on to you getting a better job....and somehow it will get to how you don't cook for her.....and slowly move to her not liking you mom because when she seen her in the grocery store last week she acted like she didn't want to speak...and then how your family is "funny actin" and how you are just like them....smh......

lololol both of these styles of thinking have their pros and cons.....but the more aware and understanding we are of these things the easier it will be for us men and women to coexist on a daily basis..........

So I've been having these on going convo with a couple of my friends about this infamous "Friend Zone" what is it? does it exist..............well yah it does exist.

Definition- Friend zone: The Friend Zone is a term used to describe a 'zone' a guy ends up with when a girl sees him as a 'friend' and nothing more. Many women use this on guys that they "LIKE" but have no "INTENTION" of sleeping with(lololol)

So for those of you that are caught in the infamous "Friend Zone" and don't know here are a few clues to let know YOU ARE JUST A FRIEND.......(these should be funny)

you’re just a friend if…

• You hear phrases like: “I can talk to you about anything,“ “You‘re really a nice guy,” “You‘re like a brother to me,” “You‘re my best friend,” and “You understand me” (unlike the Bad Boy she’s currently having sex with...lolol).

• You finally work up the courage to ask her out and she tells you: “I don’t want to jeopardize our friendship,” “I like you too much to go out with you,” “I don’t want to risk losing what we have,” and so on.

• She tells you all about her problems with guys.................

• She asks you for advice about the men she’s attracted to.................

• She tells you excitedly, “I just met this really great guy..........................

Here are reasons you may find yourself trapped in the Friend zone......

She’s just not diggin you...........Lmao

so she may think that you are funny, charming, cool, fun ton hang with --but you just don't do it for her buddy. Could be because of your hairline, your teeth, your gear (or possibly this lifetime), the really little that you can do about this beside cop some new fresh and get some braces, so don't even try to press the issue. Sometimes that's just the way the cookie crumbles. If she ain't diggin you you have a choice to make: Either stay as her friend or blow her off for someone else who will give you a lil play.

She has placed you into the "Friend Zone" because you’re way way way!!! too nice!, too accommodating and you freaking worship the ground she walks on.(this is what i like to call puttin the P*ssy on a pedestool)..............DON'T DO THAT SH*T! She knows for sure she can have you just by snapping her fingers and that my friends is the reason she doesn't want you(smh). Your nose is wide open and you follow her around by her scent like a lil puppy......GET A GRIP MAN!. You try to impress her continuously. You can't buy her attention with flowers, gifts and expensive meals and money(and if you can!............well thats called a prostitute). You are a punk-ass and she can’t wait to snatch you balls and turn you into her best girlfriend who will wait on her hand and foot physically, emotionally, mentally..........but definitely not sexually....lololololol.

She got issues...........She CRAZY

She’s been abused or brutalized mentally emotionally or physically(or all three) by the "Bad Guys" she’s "VOLUNTARILY" chosen to deal with (and of course she blames her choices in men on the men themselves), so now she does even know how to deal with a regular guy. The only man a woman that has "issues" can psychologically deal with(normally) is a nonsexual “friend.”

These are just my opinions mixed with some research I've done ova there years....along with some personal experiences from me and my close friends......nothing I said is 100% so if you feel the need to comment by all means please do............

My boy Hicks (shout out to Knowledge Box!) was telling a while ago about this soul singer that he was bumpin at the moment the Artist's name was "Coultrain"..... Now I'm not gonna front when he first told me about him and how good his music was I swept him under the rug........then Hicks brung him up again, I gave and I got his album...........and sat down and listened to it and that was only thing I listened to for a couple weeks.....This dude has impeccable talent....His voice is so soulful and so unique and his lyrics are so profound and touching.......his music just brings something out me that is trully unexplainable......I put a good friend of mine onto him and after listening to him she told me that "He puts feelings that I never could find the words to explain into lyric form"(thats not the exact quote but close enuff....shouts to Sugamama go check our her blog by the way http://www.vernaewilliams.blogspot.com).......But anyways Coultrain is from St. Louis and he is a damn good artist so yall should check him out when you get a chance....... You know what I am soooo tired of....... I'm tired of this word Swagg.....jeez enuff is enuff I've been over this word for a long time....it makes my flesh crawl when I here anyone say it.... My reply is no.....(sidebar I heard it was pretty good my boy bruce posted a review theres a link for his blog down bottom) he said it was fire!....then he moves on to tell me that "niggas was wyling out there" im like "why what you mean?" he goes they where shooting at the movie theater......my response was just the shaking of my head. lolol WE HAVE GOT TO DO BETTER!....... The word is that at the opening of the movie there was a DJ, tons of cameras, and even Jamal "Gravy" Wolard (the guy that plays the role of biggie in the movie) was present and there where tons and tons of people out there.......XTRA.....so i read up on incident and it seem as if the media was tryna blame Biggie...yah Biggie(the dead rapper) for this incident....MANNN I HE's NOT EVEN ALIVE..... and i quote....

Now I'm on his artist page and im going through his songs and his stuff is really good then I get down to a track that I was reluctant to click on and listen to... the joint was called "Amillion Girls(Amilli R&B remix) now if you know me you know im not one for anything that is even a tiny bit cliche (which is part of the reason i was reluctant to start a blog) MANNN by the end of the summer I was all A Millied out....oh every body had a effin Amillie "Remix"! not to mention Lil Wayne's actual song was in heavy and I do mean HEAVY rotation on the radio and in the clubs(and still is).......but im going off on tangents now.....lolol the point is I clicked and listened and MANNNN that joint was sooooo poppin its probably the most original and creative rendition of Amillie I've ever heard....nah I take that back it is definately the most orginal and creative rendition of Amillie I've ever heard from the way the beat is flipped to the way my boy is riding it(pause)........but my dude Duke FINALLY! shot me ova a mp3 version of the song so i could stop streaming it off Facebook lolol.....good looks my dude.........below i posted a link for you all to listen to it 2 and or download it if you want.....let me know and let Duke know what u think about the joint.

So I don't know about ya'll but growing up i was an Marvel fanatic I had the comic books, comic cards, I watched all the shows faithful, I had the toys and the video games. So i have been really excited with the past few years productions of marvel hero movies. I am especially excited about the new X-MEN Origins: Wolverine film that is set to release May of this year. I LOVED X-men and especially Wolverine because aside from Storm to me his darker complexion, thick hair, and edgy "bad ass" demeanor always led me to believe "Wolverine has got to have some black roots"(lolol) but anyways here is a trailor from the movie im most excited to see this year......enjoy.
